The Woodridge Warriors Youth Organization (WWYO) was established in 1963 to improve the quality of life and ensure the positive development of children, youth and their families in Washington, DC. WWYO has for over 54 years provided the youth of the Washington metropolitan area with top-flight football, baseball, basketball and cheerleading instruction and competition. Our volunteers have worked diligently over the years to promote positive behavior in our youth and to help them open up the world of opportunity and success based on the principles of Desire, Dedication and Discipline.

The Woodridge Warriors Youth Organization (WWYO) recent decision to move to age-level competition is a reflection of the national trend in youth football to organize teams on the basis of age instead of weight. Rest assured that our organization conducted an extensive evaluation of the pros and cons of this move with the primary consideration being the safety and well-being of our participants. The Woodridge Warrior Board, Executive Director and Coaching Staff remains committed to providing your child with quality instruction and competition in an environment that promotes community building and positive growth.

And as always, WWYO thanks you for your support.
GO WARRIORS!!!

Woodridge Warrior Season Football Workouts Now Underway

The Woodridge Warriors have a long history and tradition of building champions and young men and women of character. Our football program is our longest running program and served as the foundation for many college and professional athletes that participated on our football team.  We strive to be excellent by focusing on the mastery of basis football skills.

All our coaches work to ensure our players are utilizing the safest techniques.  Players who participate in our program are taught the importance of teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment.  The success of our program is driven by the level of commitment and support delivered by our coaches, players, parents, volunteers, and community that goes above and beyond the average youth program.

Boys and girls from ages 5-15 are eligible to participate in the WWYO Flag Football Program.
